Bichchu is in an orphanage where the children are treated badly. He is fed up and escapes to the city where he befriends 2 boys who are part of a criminal gang. He is trained to commit petty crimes. A young girl, Pari, is an important member of the gang and she takes Bichchu under her wing.

Although uncomfortable about the criminal activities, Bichchu gets emotional support and friendship from Pari and the other young gang members.  One day, he is caught while trying to steal. Onlookers beat him mercilessly but an elderly gentleman takes pity on him. There seems to be some kind of connection between him and the boy. Bichchu reminds him of his dead son. He takes Bichchu home and starts making plans for him – to educate him and to bring him up as his own.

It all comes to a rude end when Bichchu flees with a large amount of money. Has he become a hard hearted criminal?
