In the mountains of Pakistan, a Pashtun family is headed by an old patriarch who is married to a much younger woman, Allah Rakhi. One day, the father breaks the news that he is marrying his 10-year old daughter, Zainab, to a powerful tribe leader to settle a bloody feud.

On the morning of Zainab’s wedding day, Allah Rakhi escapes with her daughter, in a damning act of dishonour to the family punishable only by death. Allah Rakhi and Zainab meet a truck driver, Sohail, who helps them thinking they need a ride to the next stop. The father’s men begin to pursue his truck. Sohail’s life is in as much danger as theirs.

As the relentless chase intensifies, Sohail devises an escape plan. Their destinies are now entwined. Allah Rakhi finds herself falling for a man she is forbidden to love. The trio embark on an epic journey through the sweeping formidable winter landscape of Pakistan where the search for freedom and love comes with a price.
